Characters: Chanrille

Chanrille is an female African elephant living in a small zoo in Atlanta. She has a heart that is as compassionate as she is large. She loves humans, David Lockley in particular. She protected his mind as a child and has continued to be his closest friend into adulthood.
Chanrille is very special and I have to admit it: I LOVE ELEPHANTS! Mastercard created another "Priceless" commercial which is about a sweetheart of an elephant taking care of a sick zookeeper. Hmmm, doesn't that sound familiar?
I couldn't have written this better myself. Thanks to Mastercard and smittychelle at youtube.com for uploading the file.
Chanrille's primary conflict in Book 1 is her love of David and concern for humans in general. She must live with the animosity that concern provokes from the other members of her community. Elafaare not concerned with humankind and do not desire, in any way, to have humans understand them. Chan is breaking many of their laws through her association with David. Her alienation from the group will eventually threaten her life.
